The largest expert conservation consultancy in the world, ERM, has released its annual conservation report, which examines the company’s performance and sustainability impact and priorities for its fiscal year 2025.

The new report demonstrates how the company is stepping up efforts to address the increasingly pressing and intertwined global issues of climate change, character lost, and growing social injustice through ERM’s work with clients and associates as well as across its own functions and price network.

During its macroeconomic time 2024, ERM’s work to increase its influence included the following features:

  • worked on 1, 000+ projects that generated more than 200 terawatts of installed renewable energy capacity and 10 gigawatts of applied energy storage, resulting in a doubling ERM’s commitment to alternative energy development over the past three years.
  • Treated 2.4+ billion liters of water.
  • Worked on 81 places within 21 of the 100 focus water-stressed lakes worldwide to address water hazards.
  • Treated, destroyed or removed 12.8+ million kilograms of contaminants.
  • sales from low-carbon economy transition projects increased by 28 % from the previous year.
  • Through the ERM Foundation, the ERM Foundation supported 49 social enterprises and non-governmental organizations in 29 nations.

Additionally, ERM has updated its four sustainability-related strategies in response to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and its four main operational programs ( Decarbonization, Human Rights, Nature, and Supply Chain ). Its Decarbonization Strategy is aligned to net-zero science-based targets approved under the SBTi ( Science Based Targets Initiative ) Net-Zero Standard, committing ERM to achieve net-zero emissions by 2040.
